Its childish of Greenpeace to not want to negotiate and find solution. They just acting stubborn at the cost of the locals of Orissa taking away there employement. Greenpeace should not only consider the Olive Ridley turtles but also the fate of the people its playing with.
Greenpeace keeps trying to talk to the Tatas, without any satisfactory response. The fact is once this port is built, the Ridley turtles will lose their nesting ground. This is a species that is endangered (http://www.iucnredlist.org/details/11534) and on a downward trend. It is a duty of humanity to stop the mass exctinction we are going to cause and this port is part of it. The message is not “no to the port”, but rather “not here”. Mr Tata is very smart and should know the consequences of his acts.
It seems that Green peace is actually working very hard to make sure that their theory of turtles not nesting is proven right.
Why is it that green peace thinks that everyone who doesn’t buy their theory becomes a Tata Employee?
hmm…. just wondering which auto company just signed a nice, fat cheque for greenpeace
don’t know whether this is called awareness or mudslinging. But either way it seems like greenpeace has made up their mind about the issue. The turtles have nested and the port is being constructed everything is normal.
But being normal wouldn’t suit the Greenpeace brand promotion.
According to Greenpeace, Dhamra port project will directly affect the Olive Ridley turtles, their mating, nesting etc. however found this video worth sharing.

I think Greenpeace problem lies here: “After all, Tata has grown from a national giant into an international player”
